Green Professional Certification

Dan Sater recently completed all requirements and was awarded his Green Professional Certification by the National Association of Home Builders. The Certified Green Professional designation acknowledges home building industry professionals that are incorporating green building practices into their new projects.

Sustainability Award

Earlier this week, The Sater Group was awarded the Green Touch 2009 Excellence in Sustainability Award by Whirlpool Corporation. Through this award, Whirlpool honors building and design professionals who have made a positive impact in responsible resource efficiency.

Dan Sater becomes President of AIBD

At last week's annual meeting of the American Institute of Building Design, Dan ascended to the leadership position of President. He had worked through the other leadership positions over several years and serves on a variety of committees.

The American Institute of Building Design was founded in 1950 as the professional membership society for building designers across the country. The organization advances education in the field as well as nationwide standards and a code of ethics.

Sater Companies Wins 2009 Aurora Award

At the 2009 Southeast Building Conference, the Sater Companies was awarded an Aurora Award in the Single-Family Home category. The winning design was created by Sater Group for the Lakes at Plantation Pines community being constructed by R.S. Parker Homes in Little River, South Carolina.

The winning plan is Zurich, and is currently available for sale by the Sater Design Collection under plan number 6546.

Customer Service Team of the Year (AGAIN)!

Hanley Wood recently held its annual designer awards for achievements in plan designs and marketing during the 2008 International Builders Show in Orlando, Florida. There it was announced that The Sater Design Collection’s customer service team had been bestowed the honor of being the Customer Service Department of the year for the third consecutive year.

On hand to accept the award was Nancy Sawyer, Builder Relations Director and Ed Bajek, Sales & Marketing Director. According to Mr. Bajek, “Our entire customer service department was surprised to earn such an honor for a third year and we are positively committed to continuing the industry's best customer service for each and every client we encounter."
