2018 ARDA Award-Winning House Plans

WASHINGTON, DC, Saturday, August 18, 2018 – The America Institute of Building Design (AIBD) named Sater Design Collection as one of its top designers in the eleventh annual American Residential Design Awards (ARDA) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. During a banquet dinner held in conjunction with the Design & Build Summer Conference, Sater Design Collection was awarded the Grand ARDA trophies in Model Homes and Custom Homes categories. The winning entries were the Stillwater and the Carrington plans chosen from 144 finished and proposed projects submitted by 41 design firms from 18 states and the District of Columbia.

ARDA is a progression of the AIBD Annual Design Competition, which has been in existence for more than 66 years. This year’s jury included Allen Beaumont of B&A Design Studio in Sanford, Florida, Lynne Pratt of Pratt Building Company in Auburn Hills, Michigan, and Sean J. Tobin of Tobin Studio PLLC in Raleigh, North Carolina. This year’s program was led by ARDA Committee Chairperson, Robert Klob of Chandler, Arizona.
